Authorships

Sin-Chn Publisher strictly abides by the Authorship and contributorship of COPE, and the Defining the role of Authors and Contributors of ICMJE. Authorships mean that the authors have the responsibility and accountability for published work. All of authors need to give the approval of the sequence of authors before publishing.

 

Authorship should meet the following key points at the same time:

  • have made substantial contributions to the design, conception writing of this work, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work;
  • have made intellectual contribution to writing the work or revising it;
  • the final approval of the version to be published;
  • have the right to reply to the review comments, and explain questions;
  • share responsibility and accountability for the results of the published work.

 

Authors should the four criteria above to be as authors. Someone does not meet all the criteria mentioned but have provided support or contribution, it is available to express thanks in the section of Acknowledgement.

If there are more than one author make the contributions to the work, please choose one author to be the corresponding author. The corresponding author communicates with the Editorial Office on behalf of all the authors, including but not limited to: the manuscript submission, peer-review process, production, providing details of ethics committee approval, identifying the authors’ contributions. He/she is responsible to inform the review comments to all the authors, and then integrate all the explanations of authors and reply to the reviewers. Meanwhile, all the authority from authors will be given to the corresponding author for the final authority of being published.

 

Changes of Authorships

The Editorial Office defaults to the identity of all the authors when the new submission. Any addition, deletion, or change to the author list needs the approval of all the authors before being accepted. The corresponding author should provide the reasons for the change in authorship list, and the proof of written confirmation of authorship changes from all the authors (including the changing authors).
